Resurrection Baskets

Chilhowee Baptist Center

“A ministry of the churches of the Chilhowee Baptist Association”

1905 East Broadway

Maryville, TN 37804

We are preparing for our annual spring event, “The Resurrection Celebration”.  We believe that because of our salvation we should celebrate His Resurrection.  This year we will be celebrating on April 10, 2010 from 10:00am-4:00pm.  There will be a nursery provided for the children and a service for the older children and adults.  We hope and pray that we have the privilege of seeing several people come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and others will leave with a deeper relationship with Him.

We want to thank all the individuals and churches for helping to make this event successful in the past and pray that this year will be even greater for the Lord Jesus Christ.  We ask that as your Sunday school classes, youth and children groups put these baskets together that all the baskets have the same items so everyone will be treated the same.  All baskets will have the same type items, only the color or brand names may be different.  If you want to bring extra items, we suggest that you bring them to help fill other baskets as needed.  Last year we had 240 families to receive a basket and we look for more this year.  You may go to our website to see a complete list of items. www.chilhoweeba.org

Items for “Resurrection Celebration”

2 new bath towels (good and thick, matching color if possible)
