Recent Trips:
Bay St. Louis, MS
Several members of our church traveled to Bay St. Louis in February to assist with clean-up from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
Perry County, Alabama
For the past several years Monte Vista has sent a mission team to minister to the residents of Perry County, Alabama – one of the most poverty stricken counties in the USA. This annual week of mission involvement is done as a part of Seeds of Hope a mission project sponsored by The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
This year the trip is scheduled for the week of June 19-24. As before volunteers of all ages will be contributing, through a variety of ministries including Bible Schools, construction, and evangelistic outreach. Click here for updates on this trip.

YOUTH PASSPORT MISSION TRIP to MACON GA
Our youth spent a week in Macon GA at Mercer University the last of June and returned July 4. Mission projects included removing brush from Habitat home sites, gardening, and working with children. |

Bridge Prayer Room
Praying members commit to an hour each week of praying for requests posted in the Bridge. Requests come into the bridge in a variety of ways: telephone (865-980-7889), e-mail (

), and written prayer cards left in boxes placed strategically in the church building.
To add your request to our prayer chain, please call (865) 982-1108. Members of the prayer chain will be called and asked to pray for your request.
Monday Morning Men A small group of men meet each Monday morning in Fellowship Hall for study at 6:30 AM for food, fellowship and prayer.
Prayer Meetings
A Wednesday morning prayer and Bible study group meets each week at 10:00 in room 240.
A Wednesday evening prayer group meets each week at 6:00 PM in room 350.

Urgent prayer requests are relayed by phone (982-1108) throughout a chain of committed praying Christians. |
