Born in Oklahoma City and having lived in California, Virginia, Ohio and Louisiana, I have been in Tennessee since 1991. Jill and I came to Monte Vista in March of 2003 and our daughter, Ella, arrived one month later. Our son, Micah, was born in July of 2006. I earned a bachelor of arts in vocal performance from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio (studied 3 years at Louisiana Tech) and a master of church music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1991. As music minister, I lead and oversee the music ministries and assist Jerry in the planning and leading of worship. I’m a huge sports fan, following the LSU Tigers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Utah Jazz. I also like to read and play basketball. Other churches I’ve served: Arcadia Baptist Church (Louisiana), Forest Ridge Baptist Church (Dayton, Ohio), Reynoldsburg Baptist Church (Columbus, Ohio), Meridian Baptist Church (Knoxville, TN), and First Baptist Church (Greenbrier, TN).
